where form meets function. The generations of potters in Seagrove,

NC have made their livings and reputations on producing stoneware

pottery that met the needs of generations of housewives, families, and

moon shiners.

Dishwasher safe, oven safe, food save, and great to look at,

stoneware has a place in every kitchen. The reason that a local

handmade piece is worth the extra price is the higher quality, the

added beauty, and the uniqueness that just doesn’t come from mass-

produced merchandise.

My stoneware pieces have a bit of whimsy and character – no

one will mistake them for an assembly-line product. They bring a smile

to my face as I make them, and I hope they bring a smile to your face

as you use them. They will provide a treat to the cook or hostess when

used because they add a little something special and personal to their
